Vibrating Massager

Sated Design were approached by a client who is a new name in the adult pleasure toy industry. They asked us to assist them in developing an extra powerful sex toy vibrator invention to continue on from the success of their original adult pleasure massager. The project lead-time was very tight due to the upcoming Erotic Trade Show (ETO), which was only four months away.

We began with sketches to explore initial concepts and these were shortlisted with the client and quickly progressed into a preferred design consisting of an inline hand controller and shaped massager. This design was converted in to CAD and a fully working prototype build using our in-house prototype workshop. The prototype was sent out for testing and feedback received was used to adjust the design. A further working prototype was made to confirm the adjustments. The deadline of the product launch was getting very close and we worked closely with the client, their electronics designer and the toolmakers.

Sated Design ensured that all the parts were available in time for a small batch build before ETO where it went on to win the coveted Editor’s Award.
