KIX Electro Stimulator

The client is a specialist in electro-stimulation. They had designed a new PCB which incorporated the basic functionality of their flagship product and commissioned Sated Design to create an external case for this new product.

The client had already produced their internal electronic components and had a well-defined specification for the size, shape, style and construction of the case that they wanted. Sated Design were able to take the clients specification and quickly interpret what was required. Mouldings were designed to encapsulate all the internal components and allow necessary connections whilst maintaining the products aesthetic. In a short time, 3D CAD files were ready to be made into a prototype.

Sated Design held a review with the client utilising a 3D printed prototype as a quick way of checking the fit and function of the new enclosure. Sated Design noted any improvements required and incorporated them into the design before production.

Sated Design updated the CAD models and accompanying 2D control drawings ready for production. This data was provided ready so that they could be used in manufacture by the clients preferred toolmaker/moulder.
